Giggles for Grandmas

A word (or two) about this post:
1. Sorry for all the posts and videos about Madeline, but she is pretty much my life.  I know this is probably not interesting to many of you, but I know it is for  Madeline's grandmas.  So this video is for Grandma Julie and Grandma Annette who can't enjoy her giggles in person.
2. I look and sound absolutely ridiculous, but that's the only way to get her to laugh. If anybody heard me talking and making up songs all day, they'd think I was crazy.
3. Sorry about the camera angle.  I have to hide the camera from Madeline, because she gets too intrigued with it and won't perform.  I didn't realize you couldn't see half of her face.  When I tried to film her again with a better angle, she wouldn't laugh anymore.

Gallons of Drool

Madeline is growing up everyday.  She is getting stronger...and more of an attitude!  I have been having to keep a bib on her because she is really into chewing on her hands, which means soaking her clothes with saliva.  I can't tell if she's teething or not.  Sometimes her gums seem to bother her and sometimes not.  But she chews on everything and the drool is flowing.  Just look at these pictures.  If you click on the first two pics, you can see it in Matt's hair!  She is having a great time on Daddy's shoulders.

Color Me Mine

When we were in Utah visiting Matt's family, the girls had a little afternoon out. We went to Color Me Mine. If you haven't been...you have to go! You go and pick out a pottery piece and sit and create for as long as you please. They have plates, cups, mugs, and vases. You paint it and they keep it and fire it for you. They have tons of colors, stencils and supplies. I had plans to make a birthday plate for our family, but Madeline was in tow and conveniently needed to be fed while we were there. So I kind of ran out of time and my plate changed, but I was still pleased with it. I'm itching to go again. It was so fun to spend some time with Matt's mom and sisters. Thanks for the great afternoon!

Silly Madeline is 3 months old!

Madeline is 3 months old tomorrow. She is definitely growing and changing, although she still is a little pipsqueak. People always guess she's about 6 weeks old. She is starting to be so much fun. On several occasions she has had Matt and me giggling like crazy. Madeline loves to see everything that's going on. She loves to be in social settings looking at everything and everyone around her. She also loves to be talked and sung to and is just starting to squeal and laugh.

Matt and I love our little Madeline Marie. I'm so glad she's my little buddy :)
