Camping Surprise

We went camping a couple of weeks ago. The campsite was about an hour and a half east of San Diego, but the elevation was 4000 feet. When we arrived, we were quite surprised to find that it had SNOWED 6 inches the night before! We didn't expect snow in southern california in April or at all! Despite the cold we had a great time. Luckily we were mostly prepared for chilly weather. My toes were cold all night, but Matt and Madeline slept great.

  1. Aw, that's so cute! I'm glad you squeezed in some camping before baby #2 arrives! (I wish we had done the same!)

  3. Ummmm, I'm not even thinking about camping right now - you are way braver than me. It looks like Madeline is going to be quite the camper!

I love the picture of Madeline next to Matt in the tent. And I also the last one of her in the chair. So cute.
