A New Baby Means...

...another stocking!

Getting ready for Christmas has been extra fun this year. Madeline is loving it and soaking up all the Christmasy things. She asks me about 50 times if she can open an advent door (after she's already opened that day's) usually with a grin because she knows what the answer will be but she'll try it out just in case.

She sings and hums Christmas songs to herself all day long. She wants to watch a nativity movie about the birth of Christ several times each day too. We asked her what she wants for Christmas and she said, "chocolate and chocolate milk." (A girl after my own heart!) She has adjusted to having a baby around and is mostly sweet again. Her latest phrases are "I can't resist!" Which she rarely uses in the right context, but picked it up from a Curious George book. She also says. "Something is not right!" (from the Madeline books) and "That's very frusterated." She adores her brother who has gotten pretty darn sweet himself.

I hope you are all enjoying the feelings, traditions and meaning of Christmas. It sure is a wonderful time of year. We have especially enjoyed this part of it this year

  5. Isn't it fun now that they actually can GET Christmas (not just play with wrapping paper!)
I love that she says "I can't resist" out of context. Sounds like something Brianna would do.
    Lovelovelove your advent calendar!
